This is the 13th year for Auggie's! It benefits the Ohio County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OCSPCA).

Your pets are welcome here, you may race with them, please have them leashed.

It's a flat, fast, USATF-certified course on Wheeling, WV's Heritage Trail begins and ends at Warwood Middle School.

Who was Auggie?

Auggie was a beautiful black cat who was Tom Rownd's (race director) faithful companion for seven years. Auggie's early departure from this world inspired Tom to establish this race in 1999 as a fundraiser for the Ohio County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and to remember him by.
