This event is a West Virginia Mountain Bike Assocation point series race, a state championship, and a real gem. The Race to lil Moe's Place is technical, with rocky sections and more trails that lead you out along the beautiful Tygart River. Plus it's hosted by Lil' Moe's Bar in historic, downtown Philippi, WV where you can get burgers and brew.
This year the Run to Read Triple Crown Series ends at East-West Stadium in Fairmont, WV where a private post-race pool party will be free to runners and their families next door at the 12th Street Pool. Enjoy hot dogs, fruit, vegetables, chips, cookies, water, and sports drinks provided after the 10K and 5K races end.
America's only 15-mile race is the Charleston Distance Run. The scenic and challenging course starts at West Virginia's majestic State Capitol, rolls through the beautiful hillside neighborhoods and along the city's riverfront. This is the 41st annual event. Participants will receive a special goody bag with goodies, and a B-Tech long-sleeve performance T-shirt.
