The Big Bear Ultra is the 5th race in the WVMBA ultra point series. It is a mountain bike race that tests the participants, endurance & ability. Only well conditioned cyclists should attempt this event.
Course (50M Ultra): Consists of a 50 mile mostly single track loop. The course will be well marked. Please be aware, due to the length and nature of the course it is up to the racer to watch for the signs. At least 5 aid stations will be in place with water and snacks. Cut off times will be in effect to prevent an after dark finish of 10 hours.
Awards
- 5:00pm - Ultra Mugs, cash, and prizes.
- Large cookout and beverages afterwards for all racers and $10 each for guests.
Camping
Weekend primitive camping at Start/Finish is free for all racers. RV camping in Beaver Creek Village 10% off for this event.

Directions
To get to Big Bear Lake take I-68 to the Hazelton Exit (WV exit 29) and go south (left if you are coming on I-68 West, right if you are coming on I-68 East). Follow this road 3 miles to the guard shack at Big Bear Lake.
