Events and Times: The 5K/10K run and 5K Walk will be held Saturday, Sept. 20 shortly after the Parade. Registration will begin at 11:00 AM and end at 2:15 PM at the Festival Stage. Cost is $15 for pre-registration and $18 on the day of the race. Starting time is 2:30 PM.

Course: The Start/Finish line is on Pittsburgh St. in front of the Elks. All participants will go west on Pittsburgh St., turn left onto Chestnut, left onto Market St., left onto Broadway sidewalk (west side) and left onto Pittsburgh St. After passing the Start/Finish line, they will continue up Pittsburgh St. to Park Ave, where the 5K runners/walkers will turn right then go right onto Homestead Ave. The 10K runners will stay on Pittsburgh Street past the former Lake Forest Park, turn right onto Mt. Nebo Rd.(at stop sign) and right onto Homestead Ave. Both courses continue left onto Pittsburgh Street to the Finish line.

Cash Awards: Will be presented to the top three overall male and female participants and the top three male and female finishers in each age group for both the run and the walk events.

Festival: This event benefits the Scottdale Fall Festival held September 19-20 in downtown Scottdale, PA. Come for the race and spend the weekend! Festival events include: Artist Market - Demonstrators - Scottdale Merchant Sidewalk Sales - Food - Crafts(Gazebo area and in SB&T Community Room) - Business Promotions - Children's & Toddler's Area - Inflatables - Petting Zoo - Art Show in the Garden Club building (Fri 12-9, Sat 10-9, Sun 12-7), Roving Entertainers sponsored by Geyer PAC - Entertainment at the Gazebo and Festival Stage - Climbing Wall sponsored by the Army National Guard

Dog Show: The 4th Annual Dog Show 2008 will be held Friday, September 19, 2008, 6:20 p.m. The Dog Parage will lead off the Festival weekend and will include a jaunt around the Gazebo.
