Now in it's 16th year, the premier mountain bike fest of West Virginia
will be held at Elk River Touring
Center in Slatyfork, West Virginia. The beginning of the fest is
the ever popular Cass Scenic Railroad Ride, riding to Cass, then
shuttling up to Bald Knob on a steam locomotive used in 1900 to haul
timber from the mountain. Followed by fireroad and singletrack
downhill back to the base of the mountain. Daily tech sessions,
singletrack clinics, polo, group rides and great food will yield 5
days of fun, friends and great riding.
The Fat Tire Festival:
Starts Thursday, August 3, 2000 and runs thru Tuesday, August 8, 2000
The BIG MTB Races: The 35K & 20K XC MTB Races Both part of
